How can emergency room data help you better support survivors of sexual violence and drive meaningful change? Join us for this hands-on training where we will explore NCCASA’s Sexual Assault Emergency Room Visit Dashboard, built using NC DETECT data. Learn all about the NC DETECT data, how to navigate the dashboard, interpret the data for your service area, and turn those insights into powerful advocacy tools.

In this session, you will:

✅Gain an understanding of NC DETECT data and its limitations

✅Learn how to navigate and use the Sexual Assault Emergency Room Visit Dashboard

✅Brainstorm ways to use the data to improve services for survivors and advocate for change

✅Explore how community-based organizations want to use the data

We will also spend time reflecting on how to communicate data in thoughtful and effective ways—through visuals, storytelling, and strategies that center equity. You will leave with a clearer sense of how to turn complex data into meaningful action that supports survivors and strengthens your advocacy.
