NCCASA is partnering with the NC Human Trafficking Commission to introduce the Standards of Service which was developed “for the purpose of defining the values and expectations that should guide professional conduct and service provision for any organization in our state that works with victims / survivors of human trafficking. (NCHTC Standards, page 2). We are thrilled to not only introduce this resource, but to hear from Christine Long and Nancy Hagan from the NCHTC, Margaret Henderson from the UNC School of Government, and our own Monika Johnston Hostler. Panelists will walk us through the “Standards,” discuss its backstory and how NC stakeholders provided input into its development. Courtney Dunkerton, NCCASA Human Trafficking Program Coordinator, will facilitate the conversation, and provide recommendations on ways service providers, program directors, multidisciplinary team members, and funders can use this valuable resource. Registration is free to NCCASA members and $10.00 for all non-members.
