Description
This training will strengthen agencies’ expertise in supporting survivors of human trafficking. It will cover key components of effective service provision: an understanding of the problem of human trafficking in North Carolina, adapting services where needed in order to address complex needs of survivors, building a multidisciplinary response, and practices that reflect a more nuanced understanding of survivors from an empowerment framework.
This training pairs with “Reframing Human Trafficking Prevention” that takes place on February 13. You can sign up for one or both. These two trainings are intended to compliment each other for a more comprehensive understanding of human trafficking in North Carolina.
