Taking Care of Our Own: Supporting Survivors in the Work & Trauma Informed Supervision

This training is designed to equip supervisors with the knowledge, skills, and tools to create a trauma-sensitive environment that fosters safety, empowerment, and healing for both staff and clients. It will focus on the principles of trauma-informed care (TIC) and how they can be applied in supervisory relationships. Supervisors will learn how to recognize the signs of trauma, understand its impact on the workplace, and develop strategies to support staff members who may have experienced trauma while maintaining effective leadership. This training will specifically address working with staff who are survivor advocates. Training is open to anyone who supervises staff.
