This update will focus on the substantive changes that have been made this year, including the Survivor Act and Marsy’s Law Implementation Legislation.
The other bills that may be touched upon are the Safe Child Act and Modernizing Sexual Assault Laws. We will discuss the statutes, when they will go into effect, and potential impact for agencies and survivors. This session will be provided by Skye David, NCCASA Attorney at Law.
