Primary Purpose of Position (Posting #: PG194102EP)
The Interpersonal Violence Response Coordinator (IPVRC) primarily serves to provide survivor-centered and trauma-informed care and support services, support, and referrals for student survivors of interpersonal violence (IPV). The IPVRC must have a demonstrated knowledge of trauma-informed care, providing support on a college campus, and responding to crisis and trauma. This position reports to the Associate Director for Interpersonal Violence Services (ADIPV) and is an integral part of the Women's Center team. This is a 1.0 FTE, 12-month, in-person, permanent position. Work schedule for this position is Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm with required availability to serve as on-call advocate one week at a time every 4-6 weeks, as well as the potential for limited after hours activities. Please note that this is not a clinical counseling role; this position serves as an advocate to assist student survivors in navigating resources, reporting, safety planning, and case management.
