Registration open for the NCCASA Spring 2016 Member Meeting!

April 25, 2016

NCCASA is excited to announce that registration is open for our Spring 2016 Member Meeting! Funders are increasingly prioritizing service to “underserved communities”, and a number of local rape crisis centers recently were awarded VOCA and VAWA grants with this focus. Our funders aren’t the only ones prioritizing this topic- we know that increasing our outreach and services for traditionally underserved communities is an essential part of our work, but often easier said than done. And increasing our numbers served isn’t the only piece of this discussion. We want to make sure that we’re providing these services in a way that builds “service equity”- ensuring equitable access to quality, culturally relevant support and services. Join us for practical training, discussion, and networking about building service equity and how we can be thoughtful about this work. The meeting will be held on Thursday May 26th in Wilson, NC.  The meeting will be from 9:30am – 2:30pm with registration from 9:00am – 9:30am.  Lunch will be provided, including a vegetarian option. If you have any other dietary restrictions, you can contact Megan Clarke at megan@nccasa.org, and we will do our best to accommodate you. Participants will be provided with the meeting address after registering. This meeting is open to current NCCASA members only. To register please visit NCCASA’s training page at http://www.nccasa.org/training/nccasa-trainings. Registration must be received by Friday May 20th. The meeting agenda will include:
